What to do about Information Overload?
However there comes a point when you need to take action and what I’ve found with some of my students is that they have trouble with self discipline.
Self discipline is something that anybody can learn and apply it just has to be practiced and intigrated with a system that works.
The best thing to do is figure out your business vision first and then list everything thats preventing you from getting there.
Then you prioritize that list of items starting with the item on your list that will take you to your business vision the quickest or make you the most money the fastest and decend your list in order of importance.
Then you take one or two major items from that list and put it on your project day to work on it. Your project day can be every other day, or whatever you want.
Before you work on your major project items for the day you will first work on your other daily tasks that you have already allocated in very short amounts of time. Example, reading your favorite online news, posting in your favorite forum, making a tweat.
After you finish your daily routine tasks then you start working on your 1 or 2 critical items from your project list for that day.
This will really help you stay focused but it will come down to keeping yourself disciplined and taking action and not getting side tracked.
Theres actually quite a bit more to this but theres no way I can write all this out here in one post but I hope this helps you out.
